Patient 15

Lower Facelift, Fat Transfer-Full Face, Lower Blepharoplasty

This patient is a 60-year-old female who is interested in facial rejuvenation for her lower eyelids, cheeks and lower face. The findings of her physical examination are indicated in her before frontal photos. The eye is drawn to an overall sagging of the facial features. She has significant lower eyelid fat with a deep orbital groove as well as severe mid-facial volume loss. Apparent in her oblique before photos, her lower face shows jowling as well as neck banding with excessive neck skin. To address her concerns, the patient elected to undergo a lower eyelid transconjunctival blepharoplasty, full face fat transfer and lower facelift.

The patient has an outstanding result however very natural. Her more youthful appearance is attributed to the full face fat transfer by restoring volume to the hollow contours especially in the mid-face region. Her oblique after photos exemplifies a neck that no longer succumbs to years of gravity but rather highlights her beautiful jawline. The heavy appearance to the patient’s eyes has been corrected by filling and evening the orbital contour. In the patient’s frontal after photos her eyes now really stand out as the prominent feature of her face. The change in hair style and color also provides the patient a younger appearance.
