This 57 year old patient had concerns about the appearance of her neck, jawline and upper eyelids. She was interested in cosmetic improvement, but desired to have the least invasive procedure possible with minimal recovery time and anesthesia. She therefore underwent a limited incision facelift and an upper eyelid blepharoplasty. Both procedures were performed in the office with minimal oral sedation and local anesthetic. The patient was ready to return to social activity in one week.

Her before photos demonstrate the significant heaviness in her upper eyelids. She has moderate jowling along the jawline and minimal to moderate neck sagging without significant platysmal banding or fat accumulation. She also was tolerant of having a little neck laxity remaining in order to keep the procedure less invasive.

Her after frontal and lateral view shows the improvement in the upper eyelids with a more open appearance. Note that the eyelid has not been hollowed out which could easily have happened in this thin patient. The eyes are refreshed and brighter without evidence indicating a surgical intervention. The frontal view also shows the subtle improvement along the jawline which is better demonstrated on the lateral view. The lateral view also shows the improvement in the neck which although not perfect is improved with this minimally invasive lift.
