This woman, who had undergone other facial rejuvenation procedures, was interested in hand rejuvenation. The hands are often an area of give-away in a person with a natural and youthful face following surgical improvement. The hands age from volume loss, exposing tendons, as well as skin pigmentation. The pigmentation can be treated with the Fraxel laser and the volume loss with fillers. This patient did not have pigmentation, but did not like the skeletonized tendons. She underwent placement of Radiesse into the top of her hands. Comparison of the before and after photos show how the tendons are now less noticeable and the hands look more plump and youthful.
