This young woman had what appeared to be a rather small spot on the end of her nose which was biopsied and shown to be a skin cancer.  She underwent Mohs excision by a dermatologist and which resulted in the rather large deep defect of her nasal tip shown.  She underwent a two stage reconstruction with placement of a forehead flap and cartilage graft in the first stage followed by division of the flap 3 weeks later.

Her photos demonstrate the reconstructive result with a nearly imperceptible nasal scarring and excellent contour.  Her forehead has a minimal vertical scar where the forehead flap was harvested to rebuild the nose.
