Question:
I’m interested in getting a chin implant and was just wondering, what are the implants made of? Do they look and feel natural once in place?

Answer:
The chin implants we use are made of silastic. Silastic is a polymer of siloxin, which is the same substance used to make the silicon gel breast implants. The great thing about siloxin is that depending upon the number of molecules you link together, you can make a liquid, gel, solid or anything in between. The chin implants are a solid, but are flexible. The usually are imperceptible to touch when used in the chin area.
