Question:
I just started developing spider veins on my face. Will they go away on their own? Or do I need to get treatment for them?
Answer:
Spider veins can arise from a number of causes. If the cause is something acute then they may resolve on their own. Often however they appear with age as a result of genetics and sun exposure and will not resolve with time. There are however vascular lasers available that will easily improve and often completely remove the veins. We use a KTP laser for this most often, however on some occasions will utilize a pulsed-dye laser for this purpose.
