Can a specific type of rhinoplasty help improve my profile?

Question:
I’m a Middle Eastern man and I don’t like my profile.  Is there a type of nose job I can get that would cater to my specific needs?

Answer:
That is impossible to tell without seeing you in consultation.  The two main types of rhinoplasties have to do with the approach to obtain specific desired results and are referred to as endonasal (closed) or open.  Beyond that many different maneuvers are used to alter the nose in the appropriate way.  In some cases different options are available and each surgeon has their preferences.  We tend to prefer procedures that maintain as much of the native structures as possible, but alter their quantity and shape to achieve results.
