Full Face Fat Transfer

This patient is a 38 year old female who is concerned about the appearance of her lower eyelids. On examination she is found to have a long appearing lower eyelid. In other words the eyelid is joining with the cheek at a lower level. Youthful eyelids join with the cheek just below the lash line. She lacks any puffiness in the fat of the lower eyelid. In order to correct this situation and create a youthful lower eyelid cheek junction, the patient underwent a fat transfer to the cheek and lower eyelid. Her oblique before and after photos best demonstrate the improvement in the appearance of the lower eyelid. The cheek has added fullness and has been brought up into the lower eyelid. The lower eyelid now appears short in the vertical direction blending in with the cheek high and close to the lash line. This is a youthful appearing eyelid cheek relationship.
