Fraxel re:store® is a revolutionary laser system to assist in correcting sun damage, sun spots, brown age spots, melasma, uneven discoloration, wrinkles, acne scars, surgical scars, enlarged pores, skin texture problems, and precancerous lesions.

Fraxel re:store® is a safe, effective non-ablative fractional skin resurfacing treatment for the face and body. The laser works by penetrating deep into the tissue to ablate damaged skin cells and replace them with new regenerated skin and collagen. It does this in a fractionated manner, meaning that some of the skin is left untreated, therefore allowing a more rapid healing time. In fact, the erbium wavelength of the Fraxel re:store® leaves the outer layer of the skin intact, allowing makeup and sunscreen to be worn after treatment. This differs from purely ablative lasers or chemical peels which treat the entire surface of the skin at one time and require longer recovery periods.

Treatment with Fraxel re:store® involves minimal discomfort and little recovery or downtime. Typically all skin types can be treated. Results are dramatic and patients will see continued improvement over the following weeks and months after treatment due to collagen remodeling.
