Rhinoplasty

This patient is a 21-year-old female who presented with nose bleeds and was found to have a hole in her nasal septum. She additionally desired cosmetic improvement for her nose; she elected to undergo a cosmetic rhinoplasty and septal perforation repair.

Examination of her preoperative photographs shows a deviation of her nasal bones to the left as well as a collapse of her right upper lateral cartilage. She additionally has a bulbous nasal tip. Review of the lateral photographs shows a disproportion between her dorsal height and her tip.

Comparing her postoperative photographs, the frontal view shows great improvement in the deviation and contours of her nose. The bulbosity of her nasal tip has also been reduced. The lateral view demonstrates the improvement in the appearance of her dorsal relationship with her tip. Intranasal examination shows complete healing of her nasal septum. She additionally has relief from her recurrent nose bleeds.
