Rhinoplasty before and after, Frontal
Rhinoplasty before and after, Lateral Right
Rhinoplasty/Septoplasty, Inferior Turbinate Reduction
This 20-year-old female patient presented in clinic interested in cosmetic rhinoplasty for the large appearance of her nose. She additionally had significant breathing difficulty through her nose at all times. Her physical examination indicated hypertrophic (large) turbinates and a deviation of the septum to the left causing obstruction of 75% to the left nostril and 50% to the right. This is evident upon review of her frontal before photo. The lateral before photo best indicates the undesirable hump as well as the bulbous tip.
The after photos are 2 years post-op. The deviation has been corrected, evident in the frontal after photo, allowing the patient to breath much better. The lateral after photo displays the improvement of the dorsal hump as well as the refinement of the larger tip.
