I am only 36 years old and would like a facelift. I spent most of my childhood outside and have some sun damage. I used to be a smoker as well. Am I too young for a facelift? If I have a facelift now, is there any way to predict how long those results will look good as I continue to age?
36 is not necessarily too young to have a facelift, however you would certainly be one of the younger patients we have we have performed that procedure on. Usually at 36 we can find other less invasive procedures to perform that will provide the degree of improvement you desire without needing surgery. The longevity of any procedure is influenced by how you take care of your health (smoking and diet) as well as skin (sun exposure and skin care).
