Question:
Can Botox be used as a sort of browlift to open up the eyes?
Answer:
Yes, but the results are subtle and only effective if the brow is being pulled down by the lateral depressor muscles of the upper eye, the orbicularis oculi. A small amount of botox is injected in to the lateral brow area to relax this muscle. The brow will then be elevated slightly,1-2 mm, by the forehead muscle, the frontalis.
