Question:
I am 62 and have not liked the way the mid portion of my face has been looking for several years now, however, I have a big concern with anesthesia. Can the midface lift be performed with local anesthesia or is general anesthesia necessary?
Answer:
A mid-facelift may be performed with local anesthesia and IV sedation and general anesthesia is not required however local anesthesia alone is not enough.
