Question:
I’ve had a dent on my nose for the past five months. My rhinoplasty was a year and a half ago. The surgeon recommended Restylane but that isn’t permanent. Would revision rhinoplasty be an option?
Answer:
Certainly a revision rhinoplasty is an option for repair of any depression in nose following rhinoplasty. Restylane is also a reasonable option however. Even though Restylane is not permanent it should give one to 2 years in the result and in certain situations is a better option as it is much less risky and can heal to excellent results with minimal intervention.
