Question:
I’m interested in getting Botox injections for my frown lines. This seems like a pretty sensitive area to get a shot so how do you minimize the pain?
Answer:
Botox is a very well tolerated procedure and we usually only anesthetized the skin with topical ice. If the patient is particularly concerned however, a topical anesthetic can be placed prior to the injections. Injections are very well tolerated.
