Annie,
Unfortunately a sagging neck will not respond to tightening creams, neck exercises or Restylane. The Fraxel laser, especially the Fraxel re:pair (CO2) laser can tighten the neck skin a little, but it won’t correct a true sagging neck. Fortunately facelift surgery isn’t what it used to be and can be done with completely hidden incisions with only about 7-10 days or less of downtime (if you are a candidate for less invasive surgery) and the results can be great and last for years.
People have a misconception that facelift surgery will leave them with an unnatural appearance, have weeks or months of unsightly swelling and bruising or that it is painful. All of those worries are avoidable. We would love to see you and have an opportunity to evaluate what the right treatment for you would be. We look forward to your call.
