Question:
After almost a year of investigating different cosmetic procedures, I have finally decided that I would like a facelift. I am planning it during my two week vacation from work. I am also not going to tell anyone except my best friend that I am getting it done. Will two weeks be enough time or should I take another week of vacation so that no one can tell that I have had a face lift?
Answer:
Usually two weeks is enough time to heal so that socially you will be able to keep your procedure private. The incisions may still require a little make-up, but bruising and swelling should be resolved to the point that you would be safe. Further healing will still be ongoing, but the type of recovery you are looking for should be complete. Of course, your hair stylist might notice and if you have had significant improvement, friends and family may notice as well.
