Question:
I’m in Austin and I recently heard of something called a skin pinch in reference to eyelid surgery. Can you explain what this is?
Answer:
A skin pinch is usually used to describe removing a small amount of skin along the lash line of the lower lids. It is usually combined with fat removal of the lower lid and possibly volume augmentation of the orbital hollow. In most of our blepharoplasty cases a skin pinch is not necessary however we will perform this procedure if necessary.
