Question:
I am 55 years old and have spider veins on my nose. It is very embarrassing for me because I know that people probably assume I am a drinker when I am not. I would like these veins treated. Is this done by injections? Does each vein have to be injected more than once to get the desired results? Are the results permanent?
Answer:
Usually spider veins on the face are treated with a vascular laser. There are a couple of different lasers which can be used. Either can be as effective as the other, we choose the right laser for the vessels that need to be treated and sometimes use both.
