I started losing my hair around age 30, and now that I am a 53 year old male I was hoping to have a facelift. How much scarring is involved in a facelift? Will it be more noticeable since I do not have hair to cover up the scarring?
Scarring from a facelift is usually minimal. Incisions are placed along the hair-bearing skin and at the junction of the cheek and the ear. Even in individuals who have thin hair the incisions are well-healed.
