Question:
I’m an African American female and I’ve been consulting with doctors for rhinoplasty. I’m having a hard time finding anyone who has more than one or two pictures of African American patients. What would you recommend?
Answer:
In central Texas, African American rhinoplasty is not one of the more common procedures due to our local demographics. Surgeons who perform rhinoplasty often are well-trained in the types of procedures that are necessary for African American rhinoplasty. If you were looking for a surgeon that performs African American rhinoplasty more frequently, it may require a trip to a city with a larger population of African American ethnicity.
