I have incredibly bad sinuses infections that normally flair up late spring and early summer. I’d like to get a nose job but am not sure if it will affect my sinuses or not. Is it possible that this surgery might affect my sinuses for the better?
A rhinoplasty will not affect your sinuses, however if your septum is deviated then correcting this deviation will improve your nasal airflow and might make your sinuses healthier. If you have already tried and failed to control your sinus infections with medication you might be a candidate for sinus surgery. We do not perform this, but it can be performed in conjunction with a rhinoplasty. We team up with a sinus surgeon to do that part and we perform the rhinoplasty.
