Question:
For years I’ve had awful frown lines that I’ve wanted to get rid of. My friend was recently telling me about an injectable filler called Dysport and I’m interested in learning more about it. Would you recommend this brand to get rid of frown lines?
Answer:
Dysport can help you with frown lines, but it is not an injectable filler. Dysport is botunlinum toxin very similar to Botox. Botox and Dysport are both used to relax the muscles that cause your frown lines. If however you have etched in lines you may also need to inject a filler. The usual fillers we use for frown lines are hyaluronic acid fillers such as Restylane, Restylane Lyft and Juvederm. The combination of Dysport or Botox and a filler will improve even the deepest frown lines.
