The other day I was chatting with my mother who revealed to me that she wanted a facelift. I was shocked because she has pretty good skin for someone here age (she’s 73). She has minimal wrinkling and a few fine lines but nothing too substantial. I personally feel like a facelift is a bit much. Do you think a mini facelift or injectable fillers would suffice?
It is possible that a “mini-facelift or fillers could improve your mothers appearance even at 73, however it is likely that she could use something a little bit more than that. A facelift really isn’t intended to be the primary treatment for wrinkled skin. A facelift’s strengths are in its ability to improve the appearance of the jawline and the neck. It will also improve the frown lines of the mouth to some extent. We would just need to see your mother in consultation where we can discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the different approaches and let her decide what it the best option.
