I have sagging jowls but no other issues. What’s the best procedure for this? Are there any minimally invasive procedures?
Isolated sagging jowls can be improved with an office based limited incision lower facelift or in some cases by using filler such as Juvederm, Restylane Lyft, Radiesse or Sculptra to fill in the area just in front of the jowl referred to as the pre-jowl sulcus. The fillers are obviously very minimally invasive and have little to no recovery time. The limited incision lift is indicated with greater degrees of sagging. The procedure takes about 2 hours under local anesthesia and oral sedation. The recovery is about 2-3 days if you can hide the incisions with your hair or about a week if you have short hair.
